Sunhee Song received her Ed.D. and Ed.M. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Teachers College, Columbia University, New York in 2009 and 2007, and earned M.A. in TESOL from San Francisco State University in 2000. Before she joined Columbia faculty in 2010, she taught Korean as a foreign language at Princeton University, NJ in 2009 and had worked as a public school teacher for 6 years in Korea prior to pursing her graduate studies. Her research interests include second and foreign language acquisition, the role of input, output, and interactional feedback, and instructional techniques. She has published her empirical studies in linguistic journals, such as Korean Journal of English Language (2011) and Linguistics and English Language Teaching (2010), focusing on written corrective feedback and its effectiveness on second and foreign language learning.
