Chen Wu received her B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature (2006) and M.A. in Chinese Classical Philology (2009) from Fudan University. She also earned an M.A. in Pre-Modern Chinese Literature (2011) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she is currently a Ph.D. candidate. Before joining the Columbia faculty in the fall of 2013, she has taught both classical and modern Chinese language and literature. At present her research interests include space, city, and their interrelation with language and literature.
