
The Activities Board at Columbia is part of Columbia's student government responsible for recognizing and funding student groups on campus. We work with student councils, the Columbia administration, and the four other undergraduate governing boards to promote student life at Columbia. Our groups have a broad range of functions, including pre-professional, academic, competition, cultural, special interest, performance, publication, media, performing arts and large scale events.

The Activities Board recognition confers several privileges, namely the ability to apply for an allocation from the Activities Board, standing to apply for many other funds on campus, the ability to reserve space for meetings and events, and use of "Columbia" in the organization's name.
