The IPST is developing 13 STEM Centers across Thailand to promote the development and use of STEM curriculum in K-12 and postsecondary schools. One goal is to improve performance in small, rural schools and develop pathways for students to pursue careers in STEM fields. IPST has invited the Kenan Institute Asia and TC to build off of their successful IN-STEP and Upgrade projects and prepare and assist Center staffs in five of the new Centers to develop networks of small, low-performing schools and help them improve teaching and learning in STEM subjects. This is expected to be a five-year project. A proposal for this work has been submitted to IPST.
