Biography

Professor DiPrete has published widely on the evolution and career impact of
internal labor markets, the institutional determinants of trends in the process of
status attainment, and the comparative study of how labor market structure and
state social welfare policies have mediated the impact of macroeconomic change
on the character of work careers in the U.S. and many countries of western
Europe.
