Center on Chinese Education

The Center on Chinese Education seeks to contribute to a better understanding of education in China and to educational exchange between the United States and China.

The Center on Chinese Education (CoCE) at Teachers College (TC) is aimed at contributing to a better understanding of education in China and to foster educational exchange between the US and China. Founded and led by Dr. Mun Tsang, Professor of Economics and Education, the Center seeks to achieve this mission through three categories of activities: research and development, education and training, as well as outreach and exchange. These activities will draw upon the historically special relationship between Chinese education and Teachers College, the interests and expertise of the faculty at TC, as well as expertise and resources outside of TC.  Professor Tsang is active both in the US and in China and serves as Changjiang Scholar, Ministry of Education, China; Changjiang Professor of Economics of Education, Peking University, and Honorary Professor, Beijing Normal University.
